Peewee Longway has remained one of the underdog figures in the buzzing Atlanta rap scene. He’s respected for sure, but underrated at that, and perhaps part of the reason is simply because we don’t see him out here too much. He can go quiet for periods at a time between releases, including with his “Blue M&M” mixtape series. He makes a return to the fan-favorite series today with the third instalment “Blue M&M 2” dropped back in 2015, and was hosted by DJ Drama. Although, in between, he has released two “Money, Pounds, Ammunition” mixtapes. Peewee comes through with some of his notable ATL counterparts to help spread the word, with contributions from Offset, Quavo, Dun Deal, Cassius Jay, Young Dolph and more. Elsewhere, he nabs a high-profile feature from PARTYNEXTDOOR for the record “His Name Cassius.” Upon first listen, the mixtape is quality trap, dark, and definitively ATL, Peewee is still going hard.
